Rosy Peach Jam

3 ¼ c. mashed peaches
1 c. mashed bananas
½ c. maraschino cherries, coarsely
chopped
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1¾ oz. package fruit pectin
6 c. sugar

 

 

Combine first 5 ingredients in a Dutch oven, bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Quickly stir in sugar, bring to a full, rolling boil. Boil 1 min., stirring constantly. Skim foam off top of mixture. Put into hot sterilized jars with clean, hot lids and rings. Process in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes. Makes 7 cups.
